Matt and I went on our first vacation alone in over 10 years. This is us as we were heading out the door for the airport. Destination: San Diego, CaliforniaWe dropped the kids off with friends on July 27th and picked them up on July 31st.
Four days and four nights alone!

We took a tour of the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier. This was my favorite stop on our trip. If you don't count our hotel room (Shhh!!)
Matt showed me the cramped sleeping conditions he had while out to sea. There are three bunks on top of each other in less than 6 feet!
