This is the second summer that we have had Club Star. What is Club Star? Five families who each take two weeks in the summer to teach a lesson on their subject of choice. The first week is kind of like classtime. The second week is a field trip. The kids then earn a patch. To kick off the summer this year the kids learned about birds, made bird feeders, took a nature walk, and completed a scrapbook page. They can hardly wait for the field trip. Next month we will go on a Club Star camping trip together. Then, as the summer closes we have a BBQ. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends!
